09/11/07 - Apologies for the time taken to
update the site. The season has now ended with Tim finishing in 3rd place overall after he had poor reliability at the end of the season. Tim was pleased with this result although was unhappy to miss his target for the year, Peter
finished 8th also suffering from reliability issues whilst Ruth achieved her best result to date finishing 32nd. See the calender for the indervidual event results. We are also very pleased to announce that we have teamed up with the
following sponsors for the 2008 season and would like to thank them for their involvement!

Peter finished second in class, fourth overall, trailing Tim by around 1.5 seconds. Ruth got to grips with her first competitive run in a single seater. Ruth had promising runs and throughly enjoyed her drive. The Marengo looked very promising and the team are now looking forward to a hetic May calender with 6 events in 4 weeks! 5/09/06 - Red Mist Racing had a disappointing weekend for the final round at St Eval. The morning began with an inncorrect tyre choice leading to both drivers struggling to set a competitve time. On re-entering the pits Peter was unlucky enougth for the nose cone to catch the ground, causing substansial damage. The morning was also spent with some data aquisition hardware integration hitches which should soon be resolved. Both drivers eventually retired before the first time runs, after the rear bulkhead bolts were found to have shaken loose. A poor weekend and the team are left hoping for a better season next year.

29/08/06 - Peter and Tim competed in the Colerne Sprint on Monday the 28th. They were joined in their 600cc Class by Hamish Lindsay in his 500cc 2 stroke Krauser powered Jedi. Hamish took the class whilst Pete and Tim battled for second position. After Run 1 Peter lay in second position with Tim trainilng by a further 0.05 seconds. Run 2 saw the tide change with Tim snatching second position by putting in a time of 76.83, 0.01 second ahead of Peter's 76.84 s. A great battle between the team drivers although we were disappointed to come away without the class win.
